Bruno Guimaraes became the Premier League champions’ fourth senior acquisition when he joined Illan Meslier and Christos Tzolis in making the move to North London, after Piero Hincapie made his loan deal permanent. The club have also seen departures totalling approximately £40million. Leandro Trossard, Christian Norgaard, Karl Hein and Jakub Kiwior have all moved on.

Lewis Skelly ‘offered to rivals’
The £75million signing of Bruno Guimaraes seems set to cause a ripple effect at the Emirates Stadium, according to the Mirror.
This comes after reports that English prospect Myles Lewis-Skelly has been offered to Manchester United and Chelsea this week for potential sale. His expected price tag is believed to be around £45m.
Despite initially showing great promise as a left-back, Mikel Arteta utilised Lewis-Skelly in midfield during the last season.
The 19-year-old put in some crucial performances towards the end of last season, helping the Gunners clinch the title and reach the Champions League final.
United are urgently seeking a new left-back as they search for a long-term successor to Luke Shaw. Newcastle’s Lewis Hall has been strongly linked with the role, although the Magpies are reportedly hesitant to let him go.
Football. london was the first to report the Lewis-Skelly story, with Arteta seemingly satisfied with Jurrien Timber, Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie as his options for left-back and approving the deal.
Chelsea could be an attractive option for Lewis-Skelly, considering his London background and previous training stint at Cobham during his youth, but he has come through the academy at Arsenal and allowing a homegrown star to join a rival side would be highly controversial.
Door open for Jesus move
Gabriel Jesus could be another player heading for the Arsenal exit this summer, reports the Mirror.
The Brazilian forward, 29, has caught the attention of Napoli, and it appears a spot may be opening up in the Serie A side’s squad. This is due to reports from Sky Italy that Fenerbahce have agreed terms with Napoli for the transfer of Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian international, 33, is set to make the switch in a bargain deal worth roughly £5.12m plus add-ons.
That cash could be put towards a bid for Jesus, who Arsenal are believed to estimate at around £20m.
The former Manchester City ace has struggled with injuries during his stint at the Emirates but remains a fan favourite.
Napoli are thought to require one more departure before focusing on new arrivals, but the opportunity is now certainly open.
Promising youngster Bernard signs
Mylo Bernard has signed for Arsenal after progressing through Crystal Palace’s youth system.
As reported by The Athletic, the Gunners will compensate Palace for the 16-year-old’s training after his schoolboy registration at Selhurst Park ended.
Bernard, a forward, has netted four times in eight appearances for England’s Under-16 team. He also scored six goals in 13 matches in last season’s Under-18 Premier League and featured in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal in May.
The young player becomes the second promising talent to sign during the off-season. Elijah Upson, son of former Arsenal and England centre-back Matt, joined in July after departing Tottenham’s academy.
