Uri Geller reckons ‘likeable’ Count Binface would romp residence to victory in Prime Minister bid

Uri Geller thinks it’s inevitable Count Binface will storm into Downing Street and replace Andy Burnham as PM.

Spoon-bending maverick Uri told Daily Star it’s a matter of time before we see a bloke with a bin for a head dishing out executives. “If [Count Binface] ran for power against Andy Burnham, he could win,” Uri, 79, told us.

“Other politicians could learn a lot from him – he has likeability,” he added. “Binface has unlocked the secret to success – originality. He has captured the public’s imagination and there is no-one else like him.”

The magician sees Binface as a likeminded soul – someone who shares his let’s say, eccentric approach to life. “People love something they haven’t seen before, which is the story of my life,” he said.

Uri’s prediction may come as a surprise to Mr. Burnham, who has only just gotten his feet under the desk at Number 10 (north and south).

It follows Count Binface’s crushing loss to Nigel Farage at the Clacton by-election last week.

The Reform UK leader secured 22,239 votes to Binface’s 9,455 in the contest, which was boycotted by major political parties.

Hours after the August 13 contest, the probe into Farage about why he received £5m as a “gift” resumed.

As for Uri, it’s not the first time he’s turned his sorcerer’s gaze to the world of UK politics.

In 2019 he infamously called on the British people to help him in his efforts to telepathically stop Brexit by sending their own telepathic messages.

The goal was to transmit thoughts into then-Prime Minister Theresa May’s brain, urging her to stop Article 50 or call a second referendum. This was ultimately unsuccessful.

And in 2020 he even sent his CV into Downing Street applying for an advisory role. Needless to say, sadly for Uri this was also unsuccessful.
