Liverpool have finally had a breakthrough in their pursuit of PSG star Bradley Barcola, with the two parties agreeing on an eye-watering £120million package.
And Andoni Iraola is pressing ahead with his summer business with the Reds still examining several possible signings. Barcola has remained a key target throughout most of the summer with Iraola still in detailed discussions, while interest in a fresh name surfaced on Wednesday.

The Reds have seemingly tracked the French winger, 23, all window, and with the deadline rapidly approaching there was a breakthrough in communications on Wednesday evening. And the two clubs have now agreed on a package that will see Liverpool stump up £100m upfront with £20m worth of add-ons.
According to The Athletic, important last details are being ironed out on Thursday morning. Barcola has two years remaining on his contract at the Parisian giants, but report suggest he had made it clear he did not want to extend his deal, reports the Liverpool Echo.
He had found his minutes limited at the Parc des Princes as he was in direct competition Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue for a spot on the flank. However, he was still able to find the net 13 times and chip in with seven assists as they won Ligue 1 and the Champions League last season

Liverpool’s hunt for attacking reinforcements has been amongst the most prominent storylines of the transfer window. A swoop for Bradley Barcola remains on the cards, though their fleeting interest in Brighton and Hove Albion talent Yankuba Minteh appears to be exactly that.
It now seems the Reds have turned their attention to Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr. Sarr is familiar to Liverpool – and not simply due to his displays with Watford and Palace. He appeared on a three-man shortlist during the summer of 2020 while at Vicarage Road.
A deal for the 28-year-old is expected to be in the region of £50million, although the Liverpool Echo reports that Liverpool are persistently scrutinising the market as they seek the ideal blend of wingers ahead of deadline day.
