“Stable genius” Donald Trump bragged he’s the greatest ever US President during a manic posting spree on his social media site. The Orange Manbaby sparked fresh fears over his mental health due to the unhinged nature of his Truth Social posts.
His online blitz also included bizarre AI-generated images including ex-President Barack Obama staring into the mirror and seeing Trump look back at him and an image of him arm wrestling with late WWE legend Hulk Hogan.
Other oddball posts included Space Force outfit designs which drew comparisons to Nazi uniforms and gear worn by Star Wars baddies.
Another post saw New Mexico re-christened as “New America” while one dubbed his Mar-a-Lago resort the “southern White House.”
Independent journalist Aaron Rupar collated a number of the posts in a lengthy screen recording and wrote: “A string of absolutely bonkers Truth Social posts from Trump in the span of about 10 minutes.”
Meanwhile political commentator Harry Sisson compiled a timestamped rundown of the spree, writing: “Donald Trump is having a mental health episode online, posting nonstop AI photos and videos. This man is unwell. 25th Amendment NOW.”
The 25th Amendment of the US constitution allows the Vice President to take over if the President is removed from office. And he was not alone in called for Trump to be removed.
Congresswoman Chellie Pingree said: “This is truly unhinged behavior from the President of the United States. And I don’t want to hear ‘oh, it’s just Trump being Trump’ or that he’s ‘trolling.’ Enough. None of this is normal or okay.
“Republicans cannot keep shrugging this off. Congress, the Cabinet, and everyone around him has a responsibility to stop enabling this dangerous behavior and start asking whether he is fit to hold this office.”
New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham said the state’s name is “not up for debate”, adding: “It’s been ours since before the United States existed. What is up for debate? Who’s showing up for working families.
” While the President tries to distract Americans from his disastrous war in Iran, gas prices keep soaring. Americans are also spending more at the grocery store, losing access to health care and wondering if they’ll ever be able to afford a home.
“Under Democratic leadership here in New Mexico, we’re providing families with free childcare and college, protecting access to health care and investing in housing. While the White House wastes time coloring on maps, Nuevo México is busy doing the work.”
Even his own niece, vocal critic Mary Trump, weighed in. She wrote: “Donald is decompensating in real time–just look at the insanity he’s posted on social media today.
“By refusing to invoke the 25th Amendment, Republicans prove once again that they are willing to ignore the Constitution to protect him at our expense.”
Former BBC Washington Correspondent Nick Bryant shared one of his posts and said: “This is not the output of a very stable genius…”
Trump famously hit back at critics who doubted his mental health during his first term as president by declaring that he is “like, really smart” and a “very stable genius”.
He took to Twitter in 2018 to write: “Throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top TV Star to President (on my first try).
“I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius… and a very stable genius at that!”
