The toyboy who inherited an £250,000 estate from his 81-year-old lover is showing off his luxurious lifestyle on social media.

Florin Marin, now 33, was left a £2,000-a-month pension as well as a lump sum of £150,000 when his partner, Philip Clements, a former vicar, died aged 81 in 2020. Clements from Eastry, Kent, started a life in Romania so he could live with Marin, his lover, back in 2017.

The pensioner sold his house in Sandwich, Kent, for £215,000 and swapped it for a house in Bucharest and then transferred ownership into his husband Marin’s name. The couple’s marriage raised eyebrows and even made an appearance on Jeremy Kyle’s previous show on ITV.

At the time Clements stated: “I love him to bits – if we were permanently separated, I would be the most unhappy person in the world.” Clements was previously an Anglican priest for 50 years before he retired and started his relationship with Marin.

The couple met back in 2015 on the gay dating app Grindr. After Clements’ death, Marin has found himself in two other long-term relationships.

The first with Spaniard Jeronimo. And the second with Giovanni Messina, a now 50-year-old German-Italian hotel boss. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Marin revealed he has now has a new “mistress” – a 50-year-old Bulgarian businessman alongside Messina.

Marin stated he loves trips abroad and “does not spend a penny” on designer clothes or trips. He stated they too are funded by his new lover or Messina.

Marin has added that his new lover sometimes gets jealous and competitive with his new “mistress.” In numerous clips online, Marin has shown off fancy business-class flights as he sips on champagne and does his skincare routine during a flight from Frankfurt to New York.

On the trip he also posted pictures from his hotel room looking overlooking Times Square and clips of him dancing to TikTok trends in the famous locale. Other clips on his socials also show him unboxing designer gifts and flaunting his love for fashion.

Marin inherited the £250,000 estate from Clements when he passed away in 2020, after just three years of marriage. Marin has said he “deserved” the inheritance amid allegations that he’s a “gold digger” with the family of Clements dubbing him a “leech”. At the time, he said: “I’m not a gold digger. Who doesn’t like money?”

He added: “We can’t live in this world if we don’t have money, but doesn’t mean you are a gold digger. It doesn’t mean if you marry an older guy you are a gold digger. I was in love with Philip.”
