The power couple that is reality TV darling Dani Dyer and West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen will only grow in popularity after her latest adventure.
The former Love Island winner – who is the daughter of EastEnders icon Danny Dyer – will take to the ballroom this Saturday as she competes in the latest edition of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Dani’s participation on the hit show comes a year after her previous appearance was brutally cut short last year after suffering a fractured ankle.
Adding Strictly to her ever-growing portfolio of TV features continues to make the 30-year-old a household name, especially on top of her marriage to the Hammers and England hero last year. Here, we examine the much-discussed romance of Dani and Bowen, their staggering net worth and the harrowing situation with her ex-boyfriend.

Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen’s romance
Dani revealed in 2021 that she was dating Bowen after they had initially connected as friends. In 2022, she learned they were expecting twin daughters, Summer and Star, who arrived in May 2023.
She has branded herself on social media as “so lucky”, owing to her romance with the Hammers star. Her father, Danny, was evidently thrilled with his daughter’s selection of boyfriend too, being a devoted West Ham supporter.
Ahead of the wedding, he told Closer: “I think I’m in love with him. He plays for West Ham and he’s unbelievable, this guy. He comes in my house, I take his shoes off for him and I give him the remote control, and I say, ‘Mate, this is your house now.’ He’s an incredible person.
“I can’t wait to give Dani away, but I still think that he’s marrying the wrong Danny Dyer. Honestly, I feel sorry for my other daughter, who’s nearly 18, because she could never bring home a man to match what Jarrod’s done for me.”
Speaking on the Happy Baby, Happy Mum podcast, Dani disclosed that Bowen’s position as a football star and her circumstances as a single mum to Santiago, a child from a previous relationship, sparked early doubts. That’s until her parents stepped in and Bowen demonstrated otherwise.
“In the end, I was getting to a point where my mum and dad were like, ‘Listen, Dani, you’re going to end up losing him. Stop it!'” she said. “Like, ‘He wants to take you and Santi on. He’s more than happy to do that. So just appreciate that and be happy that he wants to.'”
X-rated chant
Dani has previously revealed her five-year-old son sings his own PG version of her X-rated football chant.
The TV beauty is the subject of a cheeky chant sung by Hammers fans, as the Irons faithful can often be heard belting out “Bowen’s on fire and hes s******* Dani Dyer”.
Even her dad chants it on match day, but when son Santi sings it in the car, “kissing” replaces the X-rated element of the terrace chant.
Speaking on the Good Company podcast with Made in Chelsea star Jamie Lang, she said: “Do you know my little boy says kissing, he sings it in the back of my car sometimes Santi.
“I’m like ‘that’s your mother you’re speaking about!’ My dad sings it, he thinks it’s brilliant. He says he starts the chant off sometimes. Im like ‘yeah, alright mate’.”
Net worth
Dani has built up a substantial net worth, valued at £7.1 million by Finance Monthly in 2025. She generates the majority of her earnings through television appearances, sponsorship agreements, podcasts and her publication, What Would Dani Do? My Guide to Living Your Best Life, which launched in April 2019.
Bowen is reportedly earning approximately £9.7m annually at West Ham, according to Capology, which works out at just under £190,000 per week. Various reports suggest his personal net worth stands at roughly £15m.
Combined, the pair are thought to possess a joint net worth of approximately £22m.
Former partner imprisoned
Dani’s former boyfriend, Sammy Kimmence, was sentenced to three-and-a-half years behind bars in 2021 following his conviction for defrauding two pensioners of roughly £34,000.
Dani and Sammy had been in an on-off relationship three times before his sentencing and share a son, Santiago.
Kimmence admitted guilt to five fraud charges, with the sum stolen from one victim reaching nearly £26,000. Kimmence took the cash between 2016 and 2018, claiming he would invest it through horse-racing wagers on their behalf.
The Crown Prosecution Service revealed he actually used the funds to clear his overdraft and splashed out on Ibiza hotels, dining and clothing.
Speaking on Jamie Laing’s Great Company podcast, Dani reflected on their past romance: “I would say we’re very civil. And I will always be very civil to him because that’s Santi’s dad.
“There’s going to be times with Santi in school plays and his birthdays and I would never want Santi to feel uncomfortable. Like Santi is never gonna do his mum and dad being together and I prefer that more because he’s never gonna know what he’s missing.”
