Ex-Miss Croatia who shined at World Cup showed off assets at tons of sport events in 2022

Although it was only at the winter World Cup where ex-Miss Croatia Ivana Knoll really hit the jackpot in terms of social media followers – eagle-eyed fans could’ve spotted her at numerous big sporting events across 2022.

The Croatian model stole the show in Qatar with her bold outfits that included the iconic checkerboard design of her nation – but it was not the model’s first sporting foray.

Daily Star Sport have taken a look at six of the most notable events attended by Ivana’s across the past 52 weeks in a wide range of different competitions.

Going back to early February, Ivana posed at an NBA game of the Los Angeles Clippers, bringing in 50,000 likes with two photos posing from the stands.

A matter of days later, having remained in the United States, the model was at the SoFi Stadium in California to watch the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals at the 2022 Super Bowl.

Next came international football as Ivana wore a Costa Rica kit to see them take on Canada in a World Cup qualifier – watching them win 1-0.

Fourth on the list was an NHL clash of the Los Angeles Kings, with Ivana posing behind the screen in front of the ice at the Crypto.com Arena.

Fifth is her trip to watch F1’s Miami Grand Prix back in May, with 25,000 likes on Ivana watching the cars from the stands with Max Verstappen taking victory.

Last by by no means least is Ivana at the World Cup, where she picked up almost 300,000 likes on a single post of her supporting her country.

Known as the ‘World Cup’s hottest fan’ as she followed her country to the semi-finals, Ivana’s Instagram followers shot up to 3.6million from under a million in just a matter of weeks.

Although devastated that Croatia couldn’t repeat their 2018 heroics and make it to the final, she thanked fans for their continued support before an emotional review of the year.

Ivana said: “2022 BEST YEAR IN MY LIFE.

“365 days of non stop travelling where I met wonderful people all around the world, attended to the biggest sport and fashion events, represented my country to the whole world and I am happy and proud as never before.

“Guys you are the reason while this was the best year for me.
