Gym babe strips down to lingerie to show it’s ‘normal’ to have tummy rolls

A gym babe flaunted her natural tummy in candid photographs – and said it’s “not normal” for women to have a flat tummy.

Online coach Liv, AKA Liv Livin Life to her 60,000 Instagram followers, is known for sharing fitness advice.

In a recent body positive post, she showed off her tum to remind people it’s normal to have tummy rolls.

She posted two snaps of herself side-by-side to show just how different her body can look from different angles.

In both pictures, she wore pretty floral white undies that were decorated with yellow flowers and she looks amazing in them.

While one shows her standing tall, posing and looking super lean – the other picture shows her sitting down, relaxing her body and highlighting that she can have stomach rolls when she doesn’t pose.

She shared the pictures to show that her body is “still worthy” in both snaps, no matter how different it looks, and said a “completely ‘flat’ stomach is not normal for most women”.

Even though she’s a gym bunny who teaches other people how to get fit, she showed that even her body isn’t “perfect” all the time.

Writing on Instagram, Liv said: “We as females have grown up in a world where any single bump, stomach roll, bloat, any imperfection is to be hidden.

“I am not saying I’m ‘big’ in any way, I’m just showing you that a fitness girl with a ‘flat stomach’ as demonstrated on the left hand side does not look like that all the time.

“We’ve designed tights that hide any sign of storing body fat in that area, leggings that compress, dresses that are tight only in the areas that we want to show off.

“So it’s absolutely no wonder that it’s something girls, from such a young age, can be self conscious of, but it’s something they SHOULDN’T BE BECAUSE WE ALL HAVE IT!”

Liv emphasised that not everyone’s stomach is flat all the time, and a “small waist” can also be created by posing in certain ways.

She said it’s “normal” for the body to store fat around the tummy area – and it’s also healthy too.

The fitness babe said she didn’t even have a flat stomach all the time when she was at her lowest weight.

“We need to change the narrative and show that a flat stomach should not just be an expectation of women,” she added.

“As the majority of us don’t always have that, meaning that we just end up disappointed whenever we DON’T look in the mirror and see a flat stomach there.”

Liv looks happy and confident in the snaps she shares on Instagram

Since she shared the post, more than 3.000 have liked the post, and several people have commented too.

People have thanked Liv for speaking so openly about the topic of body image.

One person said: “Stunner.”

Another added: “Always worthy. Thanks for being so constantly authentic.”

A third also commented: “Agree 100%. Loving ourselves is our greatest revolution.”
