Woman trusts AI to decide whether to leave hubby – and response leaves her ‘shaking’

A woman revealed how she used AI to decide whether to leave her husband or not.

Known as ‘Sarah’, the 37-year-old had been having an affair for the past six months with a lover she met on IllicitEncounters.com – the place for those wanting to break their marriage vows.

Sarah, who works in the tech sector and is immersed in the world of AI, began using Chat:GPT – the AI trend sweeping the world – outside the office in her personal life to help her better understand her affair and decisions she’s making.

Between Christmas and New Year, the problems in her marriage – including constant arguing – came to a head, and she knew she needed to decide whether to try and fix things at home – or leave her husband of five years for her lover.

Illicitencounters.com, the discreet website for marital affairs, said its members often share their experiences as part of member feedback process and sought permission to share Sarah’s unique story.

The woman turned to an alternative method to decide the fate of her marriage…

So with nothing to lose (well, except her husband), Sarah went ahead and asked the AI app to respond with her ideal ‘fairytale’ end to the affair and what she should do.

It turns out that the response from the AI left her “shaking”.

But why did Sarah turn to AI to make such a huge decision?

She explained: “I essentially asked the app to write me a story based on my current situation, and what the person in the story should do in a failing marriage while experiencing the excitement of the affair I’ve been having.

“What’s fascinating was how it picked up so well on my dilemma and even considered my own happiness. The end of the story told me I should put my happiness first and leave my husband, which I’ve now done.

“For the normal person using Chat:GPT for the first time, it will be an eery experience with the sort of output it is capable of.”

Since November, Chat:GPT has become a writing-shortcut phenomenon as users experiment with it to write poems, songs, work emails and every else.

The AI has spoken!

Due to the impressive skills of the AI, this prompted universities to enforce protocols to stop students using it to cheat.

Others used it for online daters in order to deliver romantic lines to potential dates.

Now living with her lover for the meantime, Sarah added it gave her the “push” she need.

She voiced: “It gave me the push I needed to make the jump and leave a relationship that had been in the doldrums for a long time.

“It’s certainly unorthodox, and not something I’d insist other women in similar situations to try. It was more of a case that I’d been around this technology and it worked for me.”

A spokesperson at Illicitencounters.com, said: “We get hundreds of stories every month from members who lives have been changed through reaping the benefits of meeting someone else in their life.

“Sarah’s story is a first, but also one we really wanted to share and we’re delighted she was happy to share it.”
