You’ve been opening McDonald’s sauces wrong – fast food fan shows ‘easiest’ way

Taking a trip to McDonald’s is often a cheap and cheerful treat for many.

However, the cheer usually fades for some when faced with opening the sauce packets.

You know when you have to dig your nails into the corner of the lid that just doesn’t want to come undone. We’ve all been there, right?

Well, fear not.

A McDonald’s super fan shared you’ve been opening the sauces wrong all this time – and revealed the ‘easiest’ way to tuck into your condiments.

Ashley Baldwin took to TikTok to where she casually discussed her fast food order.

But, people were more interested by how she opened her sweet and sour sauce.

Instead of peeling off the lid, Ashley squeezed the container and let the dip drizzle out from a hole she made in the bottom corner of the packet.

This means she doesn’t have battle the lid or use a chip as a makeshift knife to spread the sauce over her burger.

And her method certainly made quite the impression after it racked up millions of views from fellow TikTok users.

Social media content creator Ciaran Halpin reacted to Ashley’s interesting in technique in a separate video.

“She poked a hole in the bottom of the sauce, and used it like a funnel”, he gasped.

“You have won. Oh my God, game changer. Wow.”

Equally amazed at Ashley’s McDonald’s sauce hack, many people fled to the comments to praise her.

Although, some wondered how she made the hole in the first place.

One person commented: “Genius!”

Another user added: “Foodie award of the year!!! Love it.”

While a third voiced: “My FAVOURITE way to have McDonald’s cheeseburger.

“Thought I was the only one.”

Someone else shared: “I bite the bottom of mine to make the hole.”
