Sexpert shares virtual threesome tips for mind-blowing fun – plus rule to follow
Many people may want to spice up their sex life by engaging in a threesome – but are worried about how to go about it.
However, one sexpert has shared how those interested in a ménage à trois can dip their toe in the water – a virtual threesome.
According to Gigi Engle, a certified sex educator and 3Fun’s resident intimacy expert, a virtual threesome is an “exciting way for couples and singles to test the chemistry with a potential threesome partner before meeting in real life”.

She also says it helps people in long-distance relationships keep their sex life alive.
And many are finding they’re having “mind-blowing sex” as a result of the virtual hook-ups.

But how does it work?
Gigi explains: “Each participant should discuss the ways they like to be turned on, be it music, erotic literature, or sexy videos, to ensure everyone can get into the mood.
“Set-up should include a stable internet connection and good lighting. You can even dress up in sexy lingerie or be mysterious by wearing a mask – whatever makes you feel your sexiest.”
She said the virtual threesome dynamic mainly focuses on “mutual self-pleasure, some voyeurism (if you and your partners are into that), and maybe even some play with toys.”
Gigi added: “If toys are incorporated, you and your partners can opt for ones controlled via an app for your partner(s) to control the experience, or they can be synced to move simultaneously.
“I’ll be like everyone is in the room together – well, sort of.”

How can you keep things safe and fun though?
Before getting down to it, Gigi recommends checking your tech.
“Troubleshoot your internet connection before joining – as there is nothing worse than having to stop in the middle of things to check your internet connection,” she said.
“Also, look into using a premium version of Zoom or a similar platform to ensure you don’t encounter any time limits and have full access to all the features to ensure no one is recording for added security.”
And according to Gigi, the golden rule for a virtual threesome is communication.
She explained: “To ensure each participant is heard and has their needs met, everyone should check in before the threesome.

“Also, if a couple is testing the chemistry with a third, they need to make sure to incorporate that person so they feel fully a part of the experience. Afterward, feel free to check in to discuss what you liked or what to switch up.”
She further said people taking part need to ‘be themselves’ during the virtual threesome.
“Show up to this experience as you would any sexual encounter. This isn’t about being performative. You can be fully nude or show up in a t-shirt and underwear – whatever makes you feel good.”
Crating a sexy environment for you and your partners is also key for a virtual threesome, according to Gigi.
“Light candles, create a sexy playlist – whatever you need to create a space where you can get in the mood,” she concluded.
The threesome suggestion comes after many people tried out virtual sex during the coronavirus pandemic after lockdown restrictions prevented them meeting up for nooky.
