Prince William has given a major update on the health of his wife Kate Middleton.

The Prince of Wales said the Princess was “doing well” as he visited St Mary’s Community Hospital on the Isles of Scilly. During the visit, William was told how a new care facility was being constructed on Duchy land.

His attendance at the event has been taken by some to be a positive sign regarding the health of his wife because following the “huge shock” of her diagnosis, William too took a step back from public life to support her and their three children.

According to royal expert Phil Dampier, who spoke to Fabulous Digital: “There are some tell-tale signs that she is getting better as Prince William is undertaking more jobs, including going to the Scilly Isles where he will be away for a day or two.

“I don’t think he would be out and about more, unless he was happy she was on the mend.”

According to the Times, it is understood Prince William will “increase his diary of public engagements over the next two months”.
