Tennis ace who had boob job shocked by male journalist’s query on ‘melons’
Oceane Dodin, who believes she’s the first professional tennis player to undergo a breast enlargement, has opened up on a male journalist’s question about her “melons”
A tennis ace who recently had a boob job was left stunned by a male journalist’s question on her “melons”.
Oceane Dodin believes she is the first professional tennis player to undergo a breast enhancement, seeking out the procedure after taking nine months away from the court in December 2024 while struggling with an inner-ear condition.
Dodin, 29, peaked at 46th in the world, earning a reported £2.1million across her career, but she has since started to slide down the rankings.
However, she recently made her comeback at the ITF tournament in Reims – sparking a media frenzy with her new assets.
She told the Daily Mail: “Yes, because in this sport, it’s not like usual. Nobody has done it before, so I knew people and journalists are gonna talk about it.
“But no, because, I mean, for me, it’s nothing crazy. It’s just boobs, it’s nothing. So I was like, ‘maybe people are going talk about it because it’s new, and because it’s unusual’ – but not that much.”
Dodin was also asked about the potential side effects from the enhancement from some male journalists.
And during an interview with RMC Sport she insisted that she did not choose to have “watermelons”.
Dodin had been asked if she was still able to play: “Of course, (they’re) big, but it’s not like I can’t play, you know?
“And there are some tennis players who have bigger boobs than me, and they’re still playing. Just mine are fake, that’s it.”
Wimbledon finalist Amanda Anisimova was trolled for her “giant boobs” earlier in her career.
The star was subject to body-shaming on Instagram, and after sharing a mirror selfie that attracted some nasty comments, she put one troll on blast by posting their DM.
“The most unathletic body ever,” it said. “Narrow shoulders and giant [breasts].”
