Eric Trump Torched For His Most Cluelessly ‘Out Of Touch’ Whine Yet

Eric Trump, one of President Donald Trump’s three sons, is getting roasted on social media for failing to read the room when it comes to the nation’s affordability crisis.
As grocery prices continue to rise, and as insurance premiums are set to increase due to the pending expiration of Affordable Care Act credits, Trump touted no-fee transfers of millions in bitcoin.
The comment came as Trump trashed traditional banks, calling them “slow” and “lethargic” as he complained about trying to send money out before 5 p.m. deadlines.
“You can send $500 million worth of bitcoin on a Sunday night at, you know, at 11 p.m. while having a glass of wine with your wife for virtually zero fees,” he said.
He called bitcoin “digital gold” and said it would fix all the problems with banking.
But with inflation still an issue across the nation ― and after his father fought to block food-aid benefits from reaching low-income Americans during the government shutdown ― Trump’s praise of bitcoin struck a sour note for many.
