Babestation ladies work behind their boyfriends’ backs and the way a lot they earn
The women of Babestation are a mystery to many British men who find themselves a lone late at night with just the TV remote to keep them company. Here’s a look behind the red velvet curtain
A trio of women have revealed how they secretly work at Babestation as ‘faceless’ cam girls – and their loved ones have no idea. For more than two decades, the adult cam platform has been a late-night favourite for Brits logging on to cam and chat.
The bright lights and cheeky chat are still there, but Babestation has moved with the times. Regular updates and new technology have kept it ahead of the cam world, opening up opportunities for a new generation of models to take part and benefit.
A new wave of performers are choosing to stay faceless, reclaiming control over how much of themselves they reveal – and redefining what intimacy means in the digital age.
And we have spoken to three of them – including a woman who has two lives, a mum who jumped on the bandwagon after her husband left and another mum in a bid for financial freedom who now earns up to £3,000 a month.
Jenny (not her real name) – who goes by her moniker, Mixedbbwqueen – is a 35-year-old woman from the UK who first started working as a cam girl to “be her own boss”.
She joined Babestation earlier this year – but her other half has no idea, with the naughty Brit doing her job after her partner goes to sleep.
“At the start I was bored, curious and wanted to make a bit of extra money,” she said. “But I didn’t want my face out there forever.
“My boyfriend doesn’t know, he thinks the extra cash comes from foot videos. It’s been quite easy to get away with it as he works nights and I can do my job when he’s working or in the day when he’s asleep.
“I try to be as quiet as I can – or wait for him to leave for work if I am camming in the day – so I can be my full free self, because I am a naturally loud person. I always lock the door and have almost been caught a few times as I can forget to remove a sexy accessory.
“I didn’t know I was going to continue doing it for as long as I have but I don’t want to stop. Being faceless gives me confidence.”
Victoria (not her real name) – known as Vee BeeXoX by her fans – is a 45-year-old from Sussex and hopped on the faceless camgirl train following a divorce.
She was convinced to give it a go in July this year after a conversation with a mum at the school gates. With two kids and a house to pay for, she initially took on the gig to make more money.
But now, she loves it. “My husband left me with two kids and a house to pay for,” she said.
“I was about to lose everything and had no help from anyone. So I thought, ‘What can I do in between running my two small businesses to make more money?’
“That’s when a mum friend confessed what she was up to on Babestation and encouraged me to try it, too.
“I needed to get a job that paid well and to sort it out myself, which is exactly what I’ve done.
“People think camming is really sleazy or that men are disrespectful to the models – but not once has this happened to me.
“As a mum I only ever do my job in the house when I’m on my own or when the kids are in bed asleep. I’ve also got a monitor on them just in case the worst happens and they wake up.
“This job is amazing and right now it’s helping me get through. I make up to £3,000 a month – I do this job for my family.
Rachel Smith hails from East Sussex and first started camming at Babestation for financial freedom.
The 30-year-old mum initially joined the network at the start of 2025.
Now, nearly a year later, she makes a pretty penny – earning between £2,000-£3,000 every month.
