David Cameron reveals he is battling prostate most cancers after spouse’s determined plea

David Cameron has revealed that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The 59-year-old former prime minister said that he discovered the illness after his wife, Samantha, urged him to undergo tests.
Lord Cameron told The Times that the couple had listened to an interview with Nick Jones, the founder of the Soho House empire, in which Jones discussed having a prostate specific antigen (PSA) test in 2022. Samantha encouraged Cameron to ask his GP about it during a routine health check.
The PSA test results – which check for proteins associated with prostate cancer – came back high.
“You always hope for the best,” he told The Times. “You have an MRI scan with a few black marks on it. You think, ‘Ah, that’s probably OK.’ But when the biopsy comes back, and it says you have got prostate cancer? You always dread hearing those words. And then literally as they’re coming out of the doctor’s mouth you’re thinking, ‘Oh, no, he’s going to say it. He’s going to say it. Oh God, he said it.'”
