Doctors announce big five-day strikes as resident medics stroll out in run-up to Christmas

Doctors in England have announced they will strike in the run-up to Christmas.

Resident doctors, formerly known as junior doctors, are set to walk out on December 17 until December 22. The move comes after a five-day walkout last month.

The British Medical Association said the strikes were due to a “failure of the Government to make a credible offer on jobs or pay.”
