BREAKING Arne Slot confirms Mo Salah showdown as Liverpool boss sends Brighton warning
Arne Slot has disclosed his plans to talk with Mohamed Salah today about whether he will be involved against Brighton at Anfield on Saturday after his furious outburst last weekend
Liverpool manager Arne Slot has said he will hold talks with Mohamed Salah on Friday morning about whether he will be involved against Brighton on Saturday.
The Reds talisman, 33, claimed he had been “thrown under the bus” by the club after last Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Leeds and that his relationship with the Dutch boss had broken down. As a result of his rant, the Egyptian winger was left out of the squad for Tuesday’s 1-0 victory at Inter Milan in the Champions League.
Speaking at a press conference today, Slot said: “I will have a conversation with Mo this morning. The outcome of that conversation determines how things will look [on Saturday].”
Liverpool host Brighton at Anfield at 3pm on Saturday, as they look to extend a four-game unbeaten run in all competitions but bounce back from two successive draws in the Premier League, which have seen the reigning champions fall to a dismal 10th in the table.
