Donald Trump faces ‘largest protest in US historical past as 9 million take to the streets’
The US President could be in store for more headaches as the organiser of a massive protest movement said an upcoming march against Trump could be the ‘largest in American history’
The US President could soon be facing the “largest protests in US history” as raging Americans take to the streets in No Kings demonstrations.
Organisers said they are hitting back at what they described as authoritarianism under President Donald Trump, as they plan a massive march against the President. This comes in the wake of growing frustrations across the US and the world at the Trump administrations controversial ICE raids and shootings in Minneapolis. A third round of “No Kings” protests has been announced for this spring and organisers have warned they could be the largest demonstrations to hit the US yet.

Previous rallies have drawn millions of people, and organisers said they expected even greater numbers on March 28 in the wake of Trump’s immigration crackdown in Minneapolis.
Ezra Levin, co-executive director of the non-profit Indivisible, speaking to the AP, said: “We expect this to be the largest protest in American history.” He predicted that as many as nine million people will turn out.
“No Kings” protests, which are organised by a constellation of groups around the country, have been a focal point for outrage over Trump’s attempts to consolidate and expand his power.
Levin said: “This is in large part a response to a combination of the heinous attacks on our democracy and communities coming from the regime, and a sense that nobody’s coming to save us.”
Trump has previously hit out at the demonstrations by sharing a bizarre AI video of him dressed as a king and dumping brown sludge on protesters from a jet. He also hit out at the demonstrations and said: “I’m not a king.”
This third set of nationwide protests has come after mum-of-three Renee Good and intensive care nurse Alex Pretti were killed by ICE agents. The MAGA administration has spared outrage across the US after Trump appeared to try and dismiss the role of federal agents in the horror killings.
His ‘Yes’ men have also villainised the dead US citizens, with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirsti Noem branding both Good and Pretti “domestic terrorists”. Levi said the scheduled protest has been refocused following these horror public killings.
The organiser added that they want to show “support for Minnesota and immigrant communities all over” and oppose “the secret police force that is murdering Americans and infringing on their basic constitutional rights”.
