Schoolgirl, 17, mauled to demise by pigs after brutal intercourse assault by Russian farmworker

A Russian farmworker raped his boss’s teenage daughter and left her to be mauled to death by pigs. Igor Zykov, 42, was jailed for 23 years in a strict regime penal colony for the vodka-fuelled sex assault on Milena Shevelyova, 17.
Zykov, a convicted murderer, was “consumed by rage” over a “grudge” towards his employer – Milena’s father Zhukov – and intended to kill the livestock in an act of revenge, a jury was told.
But when he entered the barn, the schoolgirl was feeding the pigs in Krasnoyarsk region, Siberia, and beat Milena before violently sexually assaulting her and leaving her unconscious in the pigsty, a court heard.
She died from blood loss after a sow tore her femoral artery while other pigs also attacked her, a court was told.
A court statement read: “Zykov assaulted the girl, stole her mobile phone, and after she lost consciousness from the blows, left her in a pig shed with bleeding wounds. The pigs reacted to the blood and began attacking the girl.
“The man deliberately left the girl to be eaten by pigs, because he knew that the animals would attack the body, Zykov was convicted of murder, violent sex acts and theft, and jailed for 23 years.”
Zykov had earlier killed his own brother but received a job and a second chance from Milena’s farmer father after serving his sentence. In a videoed interrogation, he told investigators: “I came in, and there’s his daughter, the manager’s daughter… we got into a fight.”
He did not confess to the sex attack but investigators found forensic evidence.
Milena’s parents, who were on a shopping trip at the time of the horror, had called her boyfriend Vladimir Bedny, 18, to check on her when she stopped answering her phone and he made the grim discovery when he looked in the pigsty, local media reported.
A local told media outlet NGS24: “Switching on his torch, he saw the horrifying scene on the floor. The boyfriend ran out, vomiting and shouting for help.”
He called an ambulance but Milena was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
A neighbour named Vera said: “She was such a kind person. Always helping her parents with everything. A truly compassionate child.”
Milena’s heartbroken boyfriend posted a tribute on social media, writing: “You will forever remain in my heart.”
