Emma Raducanu boosts internet value with eye-watering £2.6m deal as she snubs Nike for rivals
Emma Raducanu boosted her huge net worth after she signed a groundbreaking, eye-watering £2.6million deal with a new sponsor after leaving Nike
Emma Raducanu has signed an eye-watering sponsorship deal with Japanese brand Uniqlo after ending her partnership with Nike.
Raducanu had been a Nike athlete since the age of 15, three years before she made history by winning the US Open as a qualifier in 2021. However, the following years have been marred by injuries and inconsistency on the court.
Despite being unable to replicate her Flushing Meadows form, the 23-year-old is still a huge commercial appeal, as personified perfectly in her new deal as she becomes the first female player to sign with Uniqlo after they previously sponsored Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.

According to tennis podcaster Craig Shapiro, Raducanu’s deal is worth £2.6million plus performance bonuses; however, Uniqlo have not publicly confirmed a figure.
Uniqlo teased the announcement of a major signing on Monday by posting a picture of a female player holding a tennis racket, with the caption “We’re proud to welcome a new face.”
Raducanu was later confirmed in a short statement, that said: “Introducing Emma Raducanu, our newest Global Brand Ambassador and Britain’s top-ranked female tennis player.

“Emma will champion UNIQLO’s LifeWear philosophy, which is committed to pursuing excellence, making meaningful contributions to society, and empowering the next generation.”
According to the Daily Mail, Raducanu will have an active role in designing her own kit, which was viewed as a major deal for both parties.
She is also expected to appear at events around the globe as a Uniqlo ambassador, with her first time sporting her new gear set to be at Indian Wells next week.
Raducanu split with Nike after eight years as the American sportswear giant makes financial cutbacks in the sport. Nike have instead opted to focus their sponsorship on Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka.
After her meteoric Gland Slam title win in 2021, Raducanu signed multiple lucrative deals with high-profile companies, including Dior, Evian, HSBC, Porsche, Evian, British Airways and Vodafone.
Raducanu’s net worth has grown to over £13.5million as of mid-2025 with her company Harbour 6 reporting significant financial growth despite her inconsistencies on court.
