Jake Paul mocked on social media over awkward stains on stage with Donald Trump
Jake Paul appeared at a Donald Trump rally in Hebron, Kentucky, but the YouTuber‑turned‑boxer ended up having quite an eventful night
Jake Paul took to the platform at a Donald Trump rally in Hebron, Kentucky, aiming to deliver a stirring address about courage, politics and loyalty. However, the YouTuber-turned-pugilist inadvertently created one of the evening’s most memorable moments for attendees.
Sharp-eyed spectators were swift to notice the conspicuous perspiration marks on Paul’s beige suit, which had seeped through to the underarm areas of his blazer. The darker stains created obvious circular patches that can occur readily beneath intense lighting and stress.
It proved to be an awkward instant for Paul, primarily because the pale beige suit he selected made any trace of sweating considerably more apparent than it would have appeared in a deeper shade. Beneath harsh spotlights and the tension of the event, the material provided scant mercy, ensuring that even typical amounts of perspiration displayed more prominently than he presumably anticipated.
His beige blazer, combined with a crisp white shirt and a tie, sparked a mixture of astonished and entertained responses. The attire certainly didn’t assist Paul as social media users immediately began commenting on the predicament.
One X user added some flair, posting: “Who is that sweaty guy?” Another onlooker bluntly declared: “Holy sweaty pit stains, Jake Paul.”
A third commentator went even further, writing: “This guy was trying to decide if he should point out the pit stains. I guess he decided he’d let him drown.”
Paul also runs a deodorant business, having launched his personal care brand ‘W’ in 2024. He even advertised it during his entrance for the Mike Tyson fight, brandishing cans of the spray as part of his walk-out.
W is available at major retailers including Walmart and Amazon for less than $10 (£7). The company’s marketing focuses on sweat protection for physically demanding activities like boxing, and Paul confessed that perspiration has long been a personal concern when unveiling the product.
“Sweating has been a longtime insecurity of mine. If you know me, you know I’m a clean freak,” he admitted. “I always want to smell fresh, but training in Puerto Rico’s humid climate makes it a real challenge.”

The rally was held at the Verst Logistics facility, where Trump addressed supporters throughout the afternoon, lauding allies and sharing his political vision with a crowd of devoted followers. During the event, the president invited Paul onstage and lavished him with praise.
Trump characterised Paul as a ‘courageous guy’ and ‘a hell of a fighter,’ even suggesting the YouTube star might contemplate a political career in the future.
Trump told Paul: “I just want to say I predict, I’m going to make a prediction, that you will be in the not too distant future, running for political office, OK? And you have my complete and total endorsement, OK?”.
Paul, who won’t reach the minimum age to stand for President until 2032, continued: “What Mr. Trump has taught me is courage. You know, we never backed down from a fight, even if they’re much bigger than you, much, much bigger than you. And I feel all the local Kentuckians feel the same way.”
Earlier in 2024, Paul had published an extensive video announcing his support for Trump. He spoke to the crowd on Wednesday about how the president had inspired him and ‘instilled’ courage in him.
