Jake Paul responds to Gerwyn Price’s problem and claims he’d ‘take over darts’

Jake Paul has claimed he’d “take over darts” and continued his long-running feud with Gerwyn Price during a segment during Premier League Darts

Jake Paul has claimed he’d take over darts during the latest chapter in his long-standing feud with Gerwyn Price.

Paul, 29, appeared on Sky Sports on Thursday evening to promote his latest boxing bout – and MVP promotions clash between Caroline Dubois and Terri Harper. And after speaking about the bout, he was asked if he’d ever play Price in a game of darts.

The Problem Child responded, with a hint of tongue and cheek: “Yeah I wouldn’t want to embarrass him, but I’m thinking of coming in and just taking over the game…I’m a hunter and I have perfect aim.”

“Now that Littler meltdown isn’t even the most embarrassing thing to happen tonight after that Jake Paul segment,” one fan joked on X.

“Did Jake Paul just say he wants to join darts,” a second question. As a third said: “Why is Jake Paul even getting interviewed for the darts?”

And another added: “Jake Paul has just called Gerwyn Price for a game of darts. It’s all happening tonight!”

Price and Paul are no strangers to each other, and when asked about the prospect of stepping into the ring with the former Disney actor, the Welshman said: “That’s easy, I look forward to that.

“He’s a YouTuber, he’s not a fighter, is he? I think it would just be one punch, and it would be all over. Out cold.

“It would be a waste of money for people to tune in. He’ll never beat me in Wales. Nobody beats me in Wales. He’d probably beat Canelo but he’s not beating me, no.”

And in a follow up interview Price said: “He’s seen it and messaged me. He wrote back to me and said, ‘Come to Greece, man. Just name a price.’ I don’t know why he’s in Greece.”

Quizzed on whether he had responded to Paul’s invitation, Price joked: “I was a bit scared. No, I need to get some training in.”
