Ann Summers points pressing product recall over ‘harm threat’ – cease utilizing now
Owners are advised to stop using the product immediately and return it.

A popular item from Ann Summers has been urgently recalled due to a risk of injuries. The shop, known for its lingerie and adult toys, has issued a recall notice for anyone who has the item.
The Ann Summers Remote Rotating Dildo poses an injury risk as parts of it can come loose during use. It’s described as a dildo, roughly 6.5 inches long, with a rotating and vibrating mechanism.
The product was sold both online and in-store between September 2025 and March 2026. It carries a SKU number of 2008629 and a barcode 5050890824779.
Two batch numbers are included in the recall, which are 1225PSK and 3325PSK. The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) stated: “The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
“The product has been recalled from end users by Ann Summers. Owners are advised to stop using the product and return it – either in store or via free postal return – for a full refund.”
Ann Summers has also published its own recall notice for the item. It clarified that the recall was due to a potential fault in the internal mechanism.
The retailer added: “As a precaution, and in line with our commitment to customer safety, we have made the decision to recall the item.”
Customers don’t need their receipt to claim their refund. Ann Summers indicates that an exchange can also be arranged instead of a refund for an item of equivalent value.
Additionally, the retailer is providing affected customers with 20% off their subsequent shop. The company said: “Customer safety and product quality are our highest priorities.
“Recalls like this are rare and demonstrate our commitment to acting quickly and responsibly when issues are identified.”
In recent weeks, several beauty items have also been withdrawn from consumers. Two Bondi Sands SPF products were recalled, with buyers urged to cease using them immediately.
The OPSS explained: “The product presents a risk to health because certain batches have shown signs of separation and uneven texture. If the ingredients are not properly mixed, the SPF rating may be variable and place consumers at risk of sunburn.”
This impacted the Bondi Sands Body Lotion (120ml) with barcode 810020173420 and Hand Lotion (60ml) bearing the barcode 810020173406.
Meanwhile, Glow and Lovely Hydraglow Rose Enrich Serum Cream was withdrawn as it poses a chemical risk due to incorrect ingredient listings and failure to specify fragrance allergens.
Lajawab Foods Limited has pulled the product from shelves. The item is described as a skincare cream housed in a pink-and-white cardboard package weighing 50g and carries the barcode 8961014255669.
