Dunelm’s Singapore Hanging Egg Chair comes in two colours and have £50 off in its Spring Sale event.

It’s important to note that this Dunelm chair looks to fit one person, so for shoppers wanting something that can seat two or even three (small) people, Debenhams has discounted this Living and Home 2-Seater Outdoor Hanging Egg Chair by 50%, making it now £174.20 from £349.

Although for those who aren’t too bothered with sharing the egg chair, homeware fans at Dunelm have hailed it as the ‘most comfortable garden chair I’ve sat in’ with one person adding: “It’s really elevated the look of my garden, but mostly the comfort is incredible. I have a small beanbag footstool I use with it & it’s perfect.”

Someone else noted: “I’ve wanted a hanging egg chair since I was a teenager, and now in my old age, I’ve got one! I assembled it myself, which was fairly easy if you follow the instructions. Looks great in a sunny sheltered spot in my garden, looking forward to some dry sunny days.”

Another added: “Simply the best egg chair. I bought this chair a couple of years ago now, and it is still the most comfortable egg chair I’ve sat in.

“It still looks like new, the cushion has not gone flat, it’s strong, sturdy and withstood the extremely strong winds we’ve had over the winter. I do always keep it covered when not in use. Can absolutely recommend and confirm you will not be disappointed.”

While the assembly for many was relatively straightforward, some people found that the building process wasn’t as streamlined, as one person said: “The holes in the seat did not align well, so the edges did not meet. However, it appears stable.” So keep this in mind.

For the most part, however, the egg chair was showered with compliments that echoed this five-star review: “The best, affordable egg chairs on the market. So comfortable to sit on and easy to put together. Price is only a cherry on top. Highly recommend to anyone looking for one.”
