Shoppers race to snap up £1.45-a-day Apple Watch deal
Apple fans can bag the brand’s eighth-generation smartwatch with a deal from one retailer that’s cheaper than Apple and Amazon.
Apple fans can sidestep the tech giant’s steep pricing with a competing retailer offering an Apple Watch for under £1.50 daily. The bargain becomes available when customers purchase an Apple Watch Series 8 at musicMagpie.
Apple and Amazon charge £209 and £177.89, respectively, for the same model, but musicMagpie customers can secure it for roughly £1.45 per day. This lower price is available when splitting the cost over three monthly payments of £44.99.
This price is for the 45mm GPS model in Midnight Aluminium, which can also be bought outright for £134.99. A key consideration here is that the Apple Watch Series 8 is a refurbished device in ‘good’ condition.

This indicates the gadget might display ‘signs of wear and tear’ though musicMagpie guarantees it has undergone ‘full testing’ and remains in ‘excellent working condition’. There’s also the option to select a ‘pristine’ version for £59.99 per month.
Irrespective of condition, musicMagpie offers a complimentary 12-month warranty covering ‘technical defects’ and ‘faults arising from inadequate craftsmanship or materials’. The Apple Watch Series 8 launched in 2022 as the eighth generation of the brand’s smartwatch range, reports the Daily Record.
Apple Watch Series 8 for £1.45 per day

The eighth generation Apple Watch is available when splitting the cost over three months with musicMagpie.
It’s an ideal budget-friendly gadget for tracking one’s wellbeing thanks to its health and exercise features. These include monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep and steps, plus workouts like running, swimming and yoga.
This model also boasts an Always-On display that’s strengthened crack, dust and water resistance. Alongside basic functions like calls, texts and social media notifications, the Series 8 offers several safety features like Crash Detection, which alerts both emergency services and one’s emergency contacts in the event of a road traffic accident.
Alternatively, those preferring the latest model can find the Apple Watch Series 11 – released in September – for £12 when splitting the cost with Sky Mobile. The catch is that this requires a longer 36-month commitment.
The Apple Watch Series 8 is a similar age to the Samsung rival, the Galaxy Watch 5. This can be bought (refurbished) at Amazon for £70, instead of £89.95.
Thousands of musicMagpie customers shared their experience with the brand on Trustpilot, where it holds a 4.5-star rating from more than 340,000 reviews. One said: “Buying a refurbished Apple Watch went very smoothly, it was delivered quickly, and I am very happy with it.”
Another said: “I purchased a Series 8 Apple Watch, which arrived in fantastic condition, good as new and working perfectly. Great products and great service, so I wouldn’t hesitate to shop with Music Magpie again.”
The same buyer reported an issue with payment, but praised musicMagpie for how it resolved the issue, saying: “There was an issue with billing after being charged three times for the same purchase, but the staff at musicMagpie were great, helpful and supportive, and after a few days it was all sorted.”
Meanwhile, another five-star review says: “The watch arrived in perfect condition. It looks and feels brand new. No marks. No issues. It works exactly as it should.”
