An influencer and former contestant on The X Factor has been charged after three people were injured in a collision outside a nightclub in Soho.
The incident happened at around 4.30am on Sunday (April 19) on Argyll Street, near the Inca nightclub, when a vehicle drove into pedestrians. Among those hit was social media personality Klaudiaglam, whose real name is Klaudia Zakrzewska. Footage shared online shows her being knocked down and pinned beneath the car before people nearby rushed to help.
Two others were also injured – a man in his 50s who had been unlocking his e-scooter, and a woman. The man suffered life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital, while the woman, believed to be in her 30s, received treatment for less serious injuries.
The Met Police confirmed the arrest of Gabrielle Carrington, 29, also known as RIELLEUK, and said she has been charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm and drink driving. She has been remanded in custody ahead of her first appearance at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 21 April.
More recently, Carrington has become an influencer, with 362,000 followers on Instagram, where she is seen posing beside a black Mercedes.
Carrington first came to public attention as a teenager when she reached the live finals of The X Factor in 2013 as part of the girl group Miss Dynamix, impressing judges including Gary Barlow.
More recently, she has developed a significant social media following, with around 362,000 Instagram followers.
Emergency services responded after receiving reports that “a car had been involved in a collision with pedestrians” in central London.
Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, of Specialist Crime South, said: “As our enquiries continue, our thoughts are with those injured and their loved ones.
“While this incident took place in the early hours of the morning, venues in the area were still open, and we believe a number of people will have seen what happened.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the collision, or any activity prior to it that they feel may be of relevance, to come forward.
“The information you have – however minor you believe it may be – could be of crucial importance to investigators.”
Officers have confirmed the incident is not being treated as terror-related.

The Met is appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting the reference 3374/19APR. Officers also noted that details can be passed on to the independent charity Crimestoppers, in complete anonymity, by calling 0800 555 111.
