Republican congressman Tim Burchett raised questions about potential sightings of UFOs, days after Donald Trump teased a release of government files on the topic
- US Congressman Tim Burchett has made the explosive claim that Top Gun pilots like Maverick would be no match for the UFOs he’s witnessed in classified footage.
- The lawmaker says he’s seen photos and videos of mystery craft that “defy any reason that we have” and possess capabilities far beyond human technology. Burchett revealed these objects can “hover for hours on end, then they can just shoot straight up, they can do angles.”
- A US Navy admiral told him about a craft spotted on sonar that was “almost as big as a football field” and “travelling over 200 miles an hour” underwater. He insisted: “We don’t have anything of that capability or that size.”
- The congressman has also raised alarm over mysterious disappearances of UFO researchers, including retired Air Force Major General William McCasland who vanished during a run in February. Aerospace engineer Monica Reza also disappeared while hiking nine months ago.
- Burchett warned: “Something dark is going on. I know these scientists and researchers. They have testified. We’ve got to get to the bottom of it.”
- He claims whistleblowers are too frightened to come forward, saying: “They’re afraid someone will disappear them. I think being murdered is what they’re afraid of.”
- The House Oversight Committee member has previously accused the government of hiding alien technology and underwater bases from the public.
