Woman in big pickup truck by accident runs over £250k Lamborghini

Ramón Ferrer was looking for a parking space in his black Lamborghini Huracan when the three-ton Chevrolet sped round the corner and crushed it

A woman driving a three-ton pickup truck accidentally ran over a £250,000 Lamborghini.

Ramón Ferrer was trying to find a parking spot in a Florida car park, when a modified Chevrolet Silverado came speeding round a corner.

It then mounted his black Lamborghini Huracan and completely crushed the front end.

The truck is believed to have been fitted with a lifted suspension that raised the cab so high that it meant driver may have been unable to see the low-profile car.

Footage posted on Instagram showed the driver clutching her head in disbelief as she realised how far the vehicle ended up over the sports car. No injuries were reported.

Mr Ferrer, who previously called the Lamborghini “the car of my dreams”, shared several videos of the incident on social media.

The Cuban entrepreneur said: “Today I was born again.

“Thank you, God for another day and another chance. Material things don’t matter to me, my health is the main thing.”

He added: “Nothing stops us, there is much more to grow.”

A similar accident was reported in Solihull in December 2025, when a pickup truck crashed into a McLaren dealership in Hockley Heath. The driver, who was alleged to have been leaving a nearby pub, lost control and ploughed straight through the showroom window, the Lancashire Telegraph reported.

A McLaren 750S Spider, worth £268,000, and a McLaren GT, valued at £105,000, were both badly damaged. The driver was reportedly arrested following the crash.

A number of other high-end vehicle incidents in the UK have made headlines in recent years. In April 2021, a McLaren 650S was heavily damaged after a collision with a Ford pickup on the A4440 near Worcester.

In another case in August 2023, a transporter carrying nine supercars, including a Lamborghini Aventador, several Ferraris and an Aston Martin, overturned on the A20 in Kent, with the load estimated to be worth more than £2 million, CarBuzz reported.

Separately, a £250,000 Lamborghini Huracan in Blackburn hit a pedestrian and a street sign, The Manchester Evening News recently reported.
