Here is everything we know about Charlotte Mulhall’s claims:

  1. The notorious ‘scissor sister’ Charlotte Mulhall has declared herself a ‘changed woman’ as she gradually adapts to life outside of prison.
  2. The infamous 44-year-old murderer is now being granted temporary release for a day or half day on a regular basis, allowing her to readjust to freedom. She recently confided in prison officers: “I am sorry for what I did and I know it destroyed my life.”
  3. Mulhall has served over 20 years for the murder of her mother’s Kenyan boyfriend Farah Swaleh Noor, 38. Charlotte slit his throat with a blade after he made advances towards her sister Linda at their Dublin home on 20 March 2005.
  4. They were under the influence of alcohol and ecstasy at the time. The sisters subsequently dismembered his body in the bathroom using a bread knife and hammer, placing most of his remains into a suitcase before discarding it in the Royal Canal, where it was discovered 10 days later.
  5. They disposed of his head separately, burying and reburying it in various locations after taking a bus to Tallaght, south Dublin. His head has never been recovered.
  6. The mother-of-one has managed to stay out of trouble in Limerick Prison in recent years. She is being released under licence from the Independent Probation Board.
