Barack Obama has laughed off UFO cover-up claims, arguing the government is too leaky for secrets, while Donald Trump promises to reveal ‘very interesting’ files.

• Barack Obama has dismissed the idea of an alien cover-up at the Pentagon. He insists that the US government is simply too disorganised to keep such a massive secret hidden from the public.
• The former President joked that “little green men” aren’t being hidden at Area 51. He claims that if the government actually had alien technology, someone would have leaked it by now to look cool.
• The “leaky” nature of the government means a conspiracy is almost impossible. Obama argued that a guard would have definitely taken a selfie with an alien and sent it to his girlfriend to impress her.
• During a chat with Stephen Colbert, Obama was grilled about his past comments on UFOs. He admitted that while people didn’t believe his previous denials, he stands by the fact that there is no hidden stash of spaceships.
