Posting pictures of the event to her 72million followers on Instagram, Georgina was so proud of her work that she uploaded five different posts of her look, with one of them captioned with a pointed message: “To those who do not appear, but sustain all… thank you from the bottom of my heart. My team is definitely a dream”.
Fans swooned over her in the comments section as they reacted to her dress, saying: “One of the best looks I’ve seen! SO beautiful”.
A second echoed: “Perfectionnnnnnnnn Love”. A third quipped: “Ronaldo really won trophies on and off the pitch.” While another added: “The look of the event was a veiled message to Cristiano”.
Ronaldo, 41, proposed to Georgina in August last year, almost 10 years after they first met in 2016 at a Gucci store in Madrid, where she was working as a sales assistant.
Georgina shared the news on Instagram along with a picture of the enormous ring that Ronaldo shelled out for, she wrote: “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.”
The question of marriage has previously come up to Ronaldo and he said it would happen when they get “that click”. While a date is not yet clear, it’s expected the two will wed after the World Cup this summer.
Ronaldo said: “I always tell her, ‘when we get that click.’ Like everything with our life, and she knows what I’m talking about.
“It could be in a year or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I’m 1,000 per cent sure that it’ll happen.”
Ronaldo signed for Al Nassr in December 2022, ending his decorated career in European football. But in Saudi Arabia, the country forbids unmarried couples from living together
According to SPORT, an anonymous lawyer told EFE: “Although the laws of the kingdom still prohibit cohabitation without a marriage contract, the authorities have recently started to turn a blind eye and no longer prosecute anyone.
“Although these laws are used when there is a problem or a crime.”
