‘World’s hottest tennis participant’ dubbed ‘Queen of England’ stuns in ‘see-through’ outfit

One tennis superstar is raring and ready to go for the French Open after showing off her new threads ahead of her return to Roland Garros

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has given her loyal supporters a sneak peek of the outfit she plans to wear at this year’s French Open. And it’s fair to say they’re fans of her new attire after she was dubbed the ‘Queen of England’.

Four-time major-winner Sabalenka, who has been dubbed tennis’ ‘hottest star’ in the past, is building a head of steam ahead of Roland Garros and already has three singles titles in 2026. She fell to Coco Gauff in the Paris decider almost 12 months ago but will look to go one better as this year’s edition begins on May 18.

The 28-year-old, who plays Barbora Krejcikova in the last 64 of the Italian Open on Thursday, uploaded a video of her transforming from her usual dress code into her new Nike ‘supersuit’ ahead of the second Grand Slam of 2026. And she drew a range of gushing compliments as she looked sultry posing in her new duds that has somewhat of a see-through visual effect.

“Beautiful Queen of England,” read one admirer’s comment on the post. It’s not immediately clear how Sabalenka qualifies as royalty in England, particularly when Wimbledon is her least prolific major after exiting in the semi-finals three times.

Still, that didn’t take from the general complimentary consensus as another fan commented: “OMG!!! Now we are talking! That is the outfit for the queen.”

Nike’s official Instagram account praised its model and wrote: “The court isn’t ready for this.” And the official Tennis Channel page added: “Hi we’re obsessed.”

“We better not see ONE player with even a look similar Nike,” read another tribute from The Tennis Pulse. “Thank you.”

Another amazed supporter chimed in: “She‘s coming for that trophy.” And the plaudits didn’t stop there as hundreds of others contributed lines of heart-eyes emojis with adulations of “gorgeous” and “beautiful.”

Sabalenka recently made headlines after calling out Grand Slam organisers for not offering a greater share of revenue to players.

With less than a fortnight to go until the French Open, the Belarusian urged tennis stars to consider boycotting the majors if players don’t get a greater cut soon.

“Without us there wouldn’t be a tournament and there wouldn’t be that entertainment,” she said ahead of this week’s Italian Open. “I feel like we deserve to be paid more.

“I think at some point we will boycott it. I feel like that’s going to be the only way to fight for our rights.”
