Arsenal star’s spouse wipes him from social media as even marriage ceremony pictured deleted

Leandro Trossard’s marriage could be on the rocks as he chases the double with Arsenal

There are question marks over Leandro Trossard’s marriage after his wife appeared to delete all traces of him on her social media.

The title-chasing Arsenal star is married to Laura Hilven, 33, who has removed wedding day pictures and has not posted any pictures wearing her ring since late last year. Pictures of her posing in an Arsenal shirt with her husband are also now absent from her social channels.

The couple, who got together 13 years ago, got married in 2019, the year he moved to the Premier League with Brighton. The Sun reports that the marriage has been under strain as he looks to help the Gunners secure a Premier League and Champions League double.

A source said: “Laura used to have loads of pictures on her Instagram showing her and Leandro on their wedding day, on holidays and going out on date nights, but she has wiped them all.

“If someone looked at her profile now, they would have no clue that they had ever been together, let alone married.”

Hilven, who has 35,000 followers on Instagram, previously posted regularly about their life together. The deleted images include one from Trossard’s proposal in 2018, holiday and snaps and one of the couple together on the Emirates pitch at the end of last season.

Her Instagram page is now made up of pictures of her with family, her 33rd birthday, a trip to Disneyland Paris, playing tennis and a trip to Wimbledon

After saying yes, she wrote: “I can’t picture my life with anyone other than YOU! I SAID YES #hefinallypoppedthequestion #sohappytobeengagedtohim #soonwifey #marriedwiththemanofmydreams.”

A post of a picture from their wedding day saw Hilven write: “I have been told many times, how beautiful it is, how deep it goes. But only since I know you I know that love really exists.”

Trossard, 31, started Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg victory over Atletico Madrid and is due to be involved when the Gunners visit relegation-threatened West Ham on Sunday.

Victory in their final three domestic matches will secure Arsenal’s first league title in 22 years. The Gunners will then face Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Champions League in Budapest on May 30.
