Arsenal followers collect at Emirates Stadium for wild Premier League successful celebrations

Arsenal fans have flocked to the Emirates Stadium after winning the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years after Manchester City dropped points to Bournemouth

Arsenal fans have flocked to the Emirates Stadium after winning their first Premier League title in 22 years.

The Gunners had got the job done on Monday evening, beating Burnley 1-0 at the Emirates, before casting eyes to the South Coast for Manchester City’s trip to Bournemouth. Anything other than a City win would crown Mikel Arteta’s side as champions.

Eli Junior Kroupi whipped the ball into the far corner of Gianluigi Donnarumma’s goal in the 40th minute to send Arsenal into dreamland – City rescued a draw through Erling Haaland but it wasn’t enough as Arsenal were crowned as champions.

Footage of the Emirates Stadium quickly emerged on social media, as fans let off flares to celebrate their first title triump in over decades.

In one clip, filmed outside the Armory, Arsenal fans can be seen jumping arm-in-arm as fans hug each other. While, in another, a flare turns the night sky red as chants: of “champions, champions, ole, ole, ole,” can be heard.

“Look at how the Arsenal fans are celebrating in front of the Emirates stadium That’s the joy that has been delayed for years,” one fan shared.

“North London and the Emirates Stadium is rocking,” a second said. While a third posted: “It’s absolute bedlam at the Emirates Stadium!”

“I’m so pleased for our young fans who are experiencing this for the first time. Now everyone at the Emirates knows why it is to be the champions,” a fourth posted. And another added: “Someone teleport me to the Emirates RIGHT NOW!”

Arsenal will lift the Premier League trophy on Sunday, when they make the short journey to Selhurst Park, as they clash with Crystal Palace on the final day of the Premier League season.
