Supermodel Heidi Klum takes inspiration from pistachio ice cream in trend present

Heidi Klum, 52, wore a gown inspired by the sweet treat at Magnum’s debut Cannes fashion show while clutching an ice cream. She said it feels ‘indulgent and delicious’

Heidi Klum hit the catwalk in a gown inspired by a pistachio ice cream at Magnum’s debut Cannes fashion show. The supermodel sashayed down the runway wearing a strapless green gown, clutching the ice cream giant’s Signature La Pistachio, to celebrate the launch of House of Magnum.

The 52-year-old, who’s the first ever ‘Magnum Muse’, modelled one of 15 looks that were each inspired by a product – translating the brand’s iconic flavours, textures and design codes into wearable couture.

Curated by the world’s only Image Architect and Magnum’s newly appointed Taste Architect, Law Roach, the fashion show brought together an international cast of designers to present couture looks.

Taking place on La Croisette, the House of Magnum fashion show brought together global designers and models. The show opened with British designer Ethan Leyland, who took inspiration from Magnum Classic and the brand’s defining Magnum ‘crack’, who set the tone for the collection.

Heidi Klum closed the runway wearing a dress created by Turkish designer Raissa Vanessa, while Heidi’s son Henry Samuel Klum also walked in the show wearing a design inspired by La Pêche, designed by Danny Reinke. Speaking post-runway, Heidi said: “It’s been an absolute pleasure to launch the inaugural House of Magnum Collection here in Cannes – the energy on the runway was something truly special.

“I got to do it wearing a stunning gown by Raissa Vanessa inspired by the Magnum Signature La Pistachio – with all those rich greens and golds. It feels indulgent, luxurious, and honestly a little bit delicious, which is exactly what Magnum is about.”

Law Roach said: “Being here with Heidi to launch the House of Magnum Collection is a dream. Magnum is everything I believe in – confidence, luxury, pleasure and self-expression.

“My look tonight is inspired by the Classic because I’m the original, baby. Bold, unapologetic, timeless – you can’t beat the icon.”

Ethan Leyland said: “I’m overwhelmed. Only a few months ago I organically created a dress inspired by a brand I love and now I’m on stage with Heidi Klum and Law Roach having just watched my design open the first ever House of Magnum fashion show “It’s a dream come true and a complete pleasure to work alongside a brand that shares my passion for design and craft.”

Göze Iscan, global vice president at The Magnum Ice Cream Company, said: “What we built at Cannes was something truly global. Designers include Ethan Leyland (UK), Maciej Zien (Poland), Jesus de la Garsa (Mexico), Martan (Netherlands), Alejandro Gomez Palomo (Spain), Victor Weinsanto (France), Danny Reinke (Germany), and Raissa Vanessa (Turkey), coming together on one runway.

“Each bringing their own craft, their own culture, their own interpretation of Magnum through fashion. That is the House of Magnum in its truest form. We didn’t just want to make a fashion moment, we wanted to create a space where local talent could stand on a world stage and be celebrated for the artistry they bring.

“Seeing that come to life – the diversity of vision, the breadth of creativity all united under one philosophy – that is what makes this a defining moment for Magnum.”

Alongside the runway debut, Magnum unveiled its new Signature range at Cannes featuring bold pistachio and peach flavours. The House of Magnum Beach at Palais Stéphanie is open to pleasure seekers until May 22nd 2026.
