Uri Geller on his secret alien bunker tour, nuclear struggle fears and ghosts – 7@7
Welcome to Gold Star, the Daily Star’s new premium subscription service, bringing you closer to the biggest stories than ever before. In our new weekly feature, ‘7 at 7’, we will be grilling top stars with seven of the weirdest, wildest and most wonderful questions you’ve ever read.
Kicking things off in spectacular fashion is legendary spoonbender and psychic Uri Geller. In an unmissable exclusive chat, Uri lifts the lid on the real-life alien bodies he claims to have seen and his biggest fears for humanity.
He also reveals why he’s holding back a ghost story that will leave Star readers absolutely terrified…
1. Do you believe in aliens and UFOs and have you seen any?
URI: Do I? Come on, I saw the bodies of aliens 50 years ago. The person who took me to see the aliens, believe it or not, is Dr Wernher von Braun, the Nazi German scientist. He even gave me this Zeiss camera.
He took me out to the parking lot, we arrived at a concrete building and we went down a few flights to the base of the building. There, inside a huge refrigerator as big as my museum, I saw bodies of aliens lying in glass tubes, totally frozen.
Many of them were injured, so of course I believe in aliens. Look what’s coming out now from Donald Trump, who I’ve known for over 50 years.
2. What’s the most interesting conspiracy theory you’ve heard, and why?
URI: I think that the craziest thing that I’ve heard is that there is this alien called Reptilian. I don’t believe that and I think that’s a total conspiracy theory. I think aliens are positive, they want to help us and they want to stop wars.
3. Which classic TV show would you bring back?
URI: I loved Hawaii Five-O. That was my favourite show.
4. What is the biggest threat to the world at the moment?
URI: There are many threats. First of all, nuclear bombs. There are hundreds, if not thousands of nuclear bombs ready to take off and explode in different countries, different cities.
They’re in silos, they’re in submarines and they’re in planes right now. Then there are threats of meteorites that can smash into Earth and spin Earth out of control.
There are diseases still raging around the world. It’s unbelievable that we have all the AI, and we still cannot cure cancer. There are lots of threats, but the main one is nuclear war.
I believe that the end of the world will happen in hundreds of millions, or maybe billions of years from now, with some kind of a comet or a meteorite hitting our planet.
5. Do you believe in ghosts and who would you haunt?
URI: Of course, I believe in ghosts. Albert Einstein proved with the equation E equals mc squared, that everything in the world and beyond is made from energy.
He continued explaining that energy cannot be destroyed. The question is, what happens when we die? If we are made from energy, you can’t destroy energy, so we go up there and we become ghosts.
I don’t want to tell you who I want to haunt. You will freak out if I reveal it to you, but maybe for the Star readers, someday I’ll write a story about it.
6. Who is your guilty crush?
URI: I don’t want to talk about that.
7. Have you ever killed an animal?
URI: Never. I’m a vegan. I don’t touch an ant.
