Crystal Palace’s Conference League final against Rayo Vallencano was stopped for a number of minutes after the referee was altered to a medcial emergency in the crowd
Crystal Palace’s Conference League final against Rayo Vallencano was stopped for several minutes due to a medical emergency in the crowd.
The Eagles headed to Leipzig to take on the La Liga outfit in both clubs’ first-ever European final. However, the game was stopped midway through the first-half with the match goalless when the referee was alerted to a problem in the Vallecano end.
Vallecano’s goalkeeper Augusto Batalla sat on the pitch to get the referee’s attention before he pointed to an incident in the stands.
