Judge caught bonking cop as employees hear ‘moaning’ so intense they could not sleep
A judge has landed in hot water after a scandalous affair they’d been having with an officer inside the court house during work hours was uncovered
A married judge has been slapped on the wrist after they had frequent sexual encounters with a “prominent” law enforcement officer inside a courthouse as the couple subjected clerks to gross “moaning” and “kissing noises.”
The affair happened during work hours as the pair got down and dirty in the judge’s private chambers over the span of two scandalous years. Few details were revealed about the US District Judge. While the individual’s gender and age remain unknown, the judge is from the 11th Circuit – the district which covers Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
And despite lying about the affair, the judge has been handed a light punishment as they were given a “private reprimand” and ordered to write apology letters to six law clerks. The details of the tryst were penned in a 22-page-long judicial complaint. The complaint stated a minimum of three former clerks overheard the encounters as workers stated “kissing sounds” and “moaning” distracted them from work and left them uncomfortable.
One clerk said the sounds of the sexual encounters left them unable to sleep or focus, while another said the nasty noises forced her to pack up and leave the courthouse for a day. Staff were repulsed when they discovered an ominous stain on the couch of the judge’s chambers. However the stain later came back as negative for semen.
The report reads: “Law Clerk A was concerned about how the Subject Judge’s conduct, if it came to light publicly, might adversely affect the public’s view of the judiciary.
“Law Clerk C said that the clerk was made ‘very uncomfortable’ by what the clerk heard coming from the judge’s office.”
“Law Clerk B stated that the clerk was so unsettled by the noises the clerk heard that the clerk had to leave the office for the day.”
The complaint was issued in February and was confirmed by the Committee on Judicial Conduct and Disability of the Judicial Conference of the US on Friday, May 22. The committee stated the officer involved in the courthouse affair was a “high-ranking” division commander within the judge’s district.
It added that the judge was vulnerable to extortion due to their spouse being unaware of the affair. The committee also raised the possibility of a conflict of interest due to the police department being involved in civil and criminal litigation in the district.
The committee stated: “Although the special committee did not find any instance of the subject judge presiding over a case in which either the officer or the police department was a party or a witness, the special committee found that this was due to ‘happenstance’ rather than the subject judge’s efforts to mitigate any potential conflict.”
The report added the judge initially denied the affair, calling the allegations “outrageous” and “baseless” before they confessed. Alongside the light reprimand, the judge also agreed to give up serving as a chief judge and refrain from appearing on any judicial conference committee.
