Meet Portugal’s beautiful World Cup WAGs together with actress and brainy bombshell
Portugal were held to a 1-1 draw by the DR Congo in the opening game of their World Cup campaign, so it’s safe to say their players may need help to lift their spirits off the pitch.
Cristiano Ronaldo and co were tipped as the heavy favourites to win Group K but Yoane Wissa’s equaliser before half-time cancelled out Joao Neves’ early strike. Roberto Martinez’s side were unconvincing and will need to re-find their best form to give themselves the best possible chance of finally winning their first World Cup.
Portugal next face minnows Uzbekistan in Houston at 6pm on Tuesday as they look to keep the pressure on Colombia at the top of the group following the South American side’s victory over Fabio Cannavaro’s team. Ronaldo and his friends have had almost a week off and will have been feeling the love and support of their better halves before they return to the pitch looking to make history. Georgina Rodriguez – Cristiano Ronaldo
Undoubtedly the most popular WAG on this list – and potentially the world – boasting over 74million Instagram followers and celebrity status in her own right.
After meeting the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend in Spain working as a shop assistant at Gucci, Rodriguez has gone on to start her own clothing brand and starred in her own Netflix documentary.
Her and Ronaldo share two kids together, Alana and Bella, and tragically lost one child in 2022, a son who died during childbirth. She also helps raise his three other children.
Ronaldo proposed to Georgina after nine years of dating and they plan to get married sometime after the World Cup in the historic Funchal Cathedral in Madeira.
Ana Pinho Bruno Fernandes
Bruno Fernandes and Ana are childhood sweethearts having met when they were both 16.
They got married in 2015 and have two children together, Matilde and Goncalo, who absolutely love watching their record-breaking dad captain Manchester United.
Fernandes’ family are often spotted on social media cheering on their father,while Pinho has garnered nearly 135,000 followers on Instagram.
They had their second child not long after the fiery playmaker signed for the Red Devils.
Ines Tomaz Bernardo Silva
Even during lockdown, love can blossom and that is exactly what happened between Tomaz and Bernardo Silva.
After being introduced by mutual friends, they hit it off instantly and have been inseparable since, with the model heading to the North West to be with her man when he became a key part of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side.
The bikini model got engaged to the soon-to-be Real Madrid star after sharing their announcement back in 2022. The pair walked down the aisle in 2023 in a magical vineyard wedding and in the same year they welcomed their first child together.
Madalena Aragao – Joao Neves
Actress Madalena started dating Paris Saint-Germain lynchpin Neves in early 2025 and the couple are often spotted on the red carpet together.
She revealed last year that the former Benfica midfielder’s three-finger celebration is a special “I love you” ritual between the two of them.
Madalena was on the receiving end of an awkward reaction from Georgina Rodriguez after a fake account commented: “Tell your goat to retire he’s very selfish,” aimed at Ronaldo.
Replying to the comment, she wrote: “Wow! This generation is coming through strong!” Despite the comment being fake, it still proved concerns about Portugal having a fractured dressing room.
Margarida Domingues – Goncalo Ramos
Margarida Domingues swapped Lisbon for Paris when Goncalo Ramos rocked up in the French capital in 2023 to sign for PSG in a deal worth around £70million.
The stunner has brains to match her beauty and holds a degree in Social Communication. They got engaged in May 2026, after welcoming their first child Bernando in June last year.
The striker has 10 goals in 26 games for his country, a tally he could add to this World Cup if Ronaldo ever steps aside.
Daniela Machado – Joao Cancelo
Blonde stunner Daniela has been by Joao Cancelo’s side since 2011 and got engaged in 2021, after the former Manchester City and current Al-Hilal star got down on one knee on the beach in the Maldives.
The couple have two daughters together, one named Alicia, born in December 2019, and a younger daughter named Camila.
Cancelo and his girlfriend Daniela’s Manchester home was burgled by four men who stole some of his personal jewellery in December 2021.
Cancelo retaliated in self-defence and suffered facial injuries, but said that his family were safe.
