‘Men flock to me due to World Cup as soccer makes them actually attractive’

Skylar Mae, 23, claims men have been flocking to her due to the World Cup. According to her, football has made them really randy and she’s getting a lot more attention than usual

A woman claims men are flocking to her as a result of the World Cup as football really appears to turn them on. Skylar Mae, 23, has claimed the event has caused a rise in attention, as football really seems to be having a different effect on men.

Skylar, who boasts over four million followers on Instagram and who works to produce saucy content, says fans are asking her to wear national team jerseys, mock rival countries and even stomp on soccer icons. People may be enjoying tuning into the World Cup, but it looks as though it’s impacting people in ways you’d have never imagined.

She admitted the World Cup has definitely been the biggest month of the year for her so far, and it’s not over yet. It comes after she previously revealed what it was like to date a man in his 60s.

Skylar, from Arizona, has been making saucy content for around five years, and she admitted the World Cup has added $100,000 (£74,542.50) to her monthly earnings. Men are flocking to her as a result of the sport.

She explained: “I’ve had people asking me to learn soccer chants while wearing soccer socks and shorts because they swear it’ll help their team win, and even make sure I send the custom right before kick-off because they’re convinced it’ll bring them good luck. Also things like me stretching, pretending I’m preparing for the big game.

“The funniest requests are always from the really die-hard fans. They’ll send me requests explaining exactly why I need to mention a certain player, or avoid talking about another team. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into it.

“I’ve honestly learned more about soccer from my subscribers than I ever would have just watching the games. Everyone has that one player they absolutely can’t stand, and they make sure I know about it.”

Skylar believes football becomes a part of people’s personality from such a young age so, when the World Cup comes around, it can take over everything. It doesn’t surprise her that so many men are flocking to her.

While many of her fans are based in the US, she has people contacting her from all over the world. Many people seem to be football mad.

“I get loads of requests from English fans,” she added. “I’ve had guys asking me to wear the same socks or underwear before every game because they’re convinced it’s become lucky.

“One guy insisted I eat mashed potatoes before England played Ghana because he’d done it during their last win and didn’t want to break the streak. One of the funniest messages I got was from an England fan who said he wasn’t going to shave until England got knocked out, so he wanted me to film a custom telling him to ‘keep the beard going.’

“Soccer fans take their rituals way more seriously than I ever expected. I always thought the stereotype about English soccer fans was that they’d be loud, but I’ve actually found they’re just incredibly superstitious. They really believe the smallest thing can change their team’s luck.”

In contrast, she claimed the US fans were more positive and tended to be “less hating on the opposing team”. She thinks the fact that the contest is being hosted in the US has drawn Americans into the hype.

However, she admitted it’s made a lot of people horny. In fact, she can’t believe how much attention she’s received.

Skylar added: “Absolutely it turns people on. I think that a lot of the passion that fans have for their teams spills into passion in other ways.

“They’re excited, they’re celebrating, they’re emotional and I definitely notice that. When all you are thinking about is soccer and the World Cup for weeks, of course it’s going to become a part of your sexual fantasies.”
