Woman ‘strips bare and performs indecent act’ on flight as surprised passengers look on
A routine flight descended into complete chaos when a passenger’s indecent acts forced crew to call in cops to meet the plane at the gate

Stunned airline passengers were left horrified after a woman allegedly stripped naked and performed an indecent act in her seat. The wild mid-air incident reportedly occurred on an American Airlines Airbus A319 bound for Miami International Airport after taking off from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
Flight AA1779 had already been delayed by nearly an hour and a half, finally getting airborne around 8.45pm EDT on Friday, September 11, before chaos broke out in the front right section of the cabin.
Horrified flyers looked on as the female passenger, sitting in row nine, suddenly stripped off all her clothes, according to Fox News.

Cabin crew quickly alerted the cockpit after the lead flight attendant spotted the shameless act in full view of shocked travellers, reports the Mirror.
An urgent message sent via the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) to the airline’s Integrated Operations Center laid bare the details.
The message read: “FA1 REPORTS THAT PAX IN SEAT 9DEF HAS TAKEN OFF ALL HER CLOTHES AND WAS SEEN BY OTHER PAX TOUCHING HERSELF IN AN INDECENT MANNER. FOM SAYS THIS MUST BE REPORTED TO IOC/OSM AND HAVE LAW ENFORCEMENT.”

Despite the disruption, pilots pressed on with the two-hour-and-25-minute journey without diverting.
Following standard security protocols outlined in the airline’s flight operations Manual, crew ensured police were scrambled to meet the plane the moment its wheels touched down in Florida.
The jet finally landed in Miami at 11.32pm EDT, taxiing straight to Gate D2 in the airport’s North Terminal where officers were waiting.
Cops immediately boarded the plane and took the woman into custody, according to local reports.
It is not yet known whether flight attendants had to physically restrain the passenger during the flight or what specific steps were taken to handle the unruly traveller mid-air.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is reportedly currently investigating the incident.
