Donald Trump has sent the internet into a spin after eagle-eyed observers spotted a bizarre, mysterious bulge beneath his suit jacket.
The 80-year-old President was filmed stepping out in North Carolina to back Republican Senate nominee Michael Whatley when social media users caught sight of an unusual shape protruding from his rear. It marks at least the third time in recent months the bizarre box-like outline has been spotted.
Footage uploaded to Instagram by White House aide Margo Martin, who Trump previously dubbed “the most beautiful photographer in the world”, showed reporters gathering near Air Force One, alongside the President’s peculiar silhouette.

The unexplained shape previously set tongues wagging during an April 60 Minutes interview, as well as footage from a Long Island rally posted by former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
Conspiracy theories have naturally run wild online. Speculative onlookers on X (formerly Twitter) have suggested everything from a back brace or heart failure monitor to an exoskeleton – and even a medical catheter or adult nappy.
One user wrote: “Wearing senior diapers can be visible as a bulge. Especially the size Trump would need to wear.”

Another posted: “Not news, but it *appears* Trump is wearing an exoskeleton walking device strapped around his waist to help with his mobility. *Perhaps* explains the bulge around the back of his jacket.”
The sightings come amid wider health questions regarding Trump, following photographs showing bruised hands, swollen ankles and moments where he appeared to drag or tap his right leg.
However, the White House has hit back with full force at the ongoing rumours.
When quizzed directly about the mysterious bulge, White House spokesman Davis Ingle told the Daily Beast: “Only the glue-sniffing degenerates at the failing Daily Beast would obsessively push baseless conspiracy theories about President Trump.
“That’s because they suffer from a severe, crippling disease known as Trump Derangement Syndrome that has completely rotted their peanut-sized brains.”
Ingle continued to defend the President’s physical fitness, adding: “President Trump’s sharpness, unmatched energy, relentless work ethic and historic accessibility stand in stark contrast to what we saw during the last administration when Democrats and the legacy media intentionally covered up Joe Biden’s serious mental and physical decline from the American people.”
Administration officials insist Trump remains in “excellent” condition, though that hasn’t stopped the web from hunting for answers about what’s really lurking under those suit pants.
