Gary Neville reveals true colors with scathing Man Utd evaluation throughout Fulham draw

Manchester United icon Gary Neville pulled no punches as he launched into a scathing attack of their second half performance when appearing on co-commentary for Sky Sports.
Fulham took the lead at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon after a comedy of errors led to Lisandro Martinez’s own goal. And Neville, left furious at what he was watching slammed it “the worst 15 minutes I’ve ever seen” at United.
Matheus Cunha, who saved their blushes with a deflected effort in the final minutes, lost possession cheaply to Calvin Bassey – who surged forward and drew a stop from Senne Lammens. The Reds shot-stopper then found himself in no man’s land after Lisandro Martinez rolled the ball back towards him.

He appeared unable to choose between using his foot or hand to clear the danger, and by the time he’d decided, the ball had crossed the line.
Following the goal, Neville launched a scathing attack on his old team while on commentary duty for Sky Sports, reports the Mirror.
He said: “I’ve watched Manchester United since the age of five and that’s the worst 15 minutes I’ve ever seen them play. Absolutely pathetic. They have walked for 15 minutes and you get what you deserve in a football match.
“Maybe there will be a reaction but I’ve never seen a lack of effort for 15-20 minutes like I have just seen there. What must he be thinking? He probably cannot believe what he has watched in that last 15 or 20 minutes. He’s got to act now.”
Neville likely saw the goal coming, as he was far from impressed with United’s start to the second half.
Prior to Martinez inadvertently knocking the ball into his own net, Neville commented: “It’s a few minutes of the blue mannequins playing against the white mannequins and then it switches around, bizarre football match.
“They won’t go anywhere with a lack of urgency like this. I don’t know if it’s fear, lack of complacency, they’re just not working hard.”
