Police are desperately searching for a heavily pregnant woman who was reported missing on Friday. Leicestershire Police are appealing for information on the woman’s whereabouts as they grow concerned for her welfare.
Charlie Ryan was reported missing on Friday (October 2) morning having last been seen in the Groby Road area of Leicester near to the Glenfrith Way/New Parks Way roundabout.
Charlie, who is 31 years old, has been described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, with bright blonde hair. She is also heavily pregnant. The woman was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey jumper, black leggings and black shoes.
Police and Charlie’s family are extremely concerned for her welfare as active enquiries are continuing to find her.
Enquiries carried out so far indicate she may be in the Northfields area of Leicester.
Anyone who may have seen her or knows where she may be is asked to contact police on 999 quoting incident 159 of October 2.
A statement from Leicestershire Police read: “Police are appealing for public help to urgently find a missing woman.
“Charlie Ryan was reported missing yesterday morning (Friday 1 October) having last been seen in the Groby Road area of Leicester near to the Glenfrith Way/New Parks Way roundabout.
“Charlie, who is 31-years-old, is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, with bright blonde hair. She is also heavily pregnant. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey jumper, black leggings and black shoes.
“Police and Charlie’s family are extremely concerned for her welfare as active enquiries are continuing to find her. Enquiries carried out so far indicate she may be in the Northfields area of Leicester.”
