Finding home appliances that are efficient, practical and match interiors can be a challenge – but there’s one set from Yimbly which shoppers are praising as ‘easy to clean, reliable, and stylish’. The Homcom Kettle And Toaster Set (1.7l Boil Kettle and Four-Slice Toaster) is available from Yimbly, an online marketplace owned by this site’s parent company, Reach Plc, for £54.99.
However, with the code AUTUMN10 at checkout, shoppers can save some cash and snap it up for £49.50. The set comes in a variety of colours, including black, cream, green, red, blue and more, and it comprises a 1.7-litre rapid boil kettle and four-slice toaster.
Both come in a ridged texture with a glossy finish, complete with chrome-coloured accents for a polished look. The toaster has seven browning levels, so shoppers can choose their favourite for their desired result, while the kettle can make up to six cups of tea.

As an alternative, Amazon has this Swan Windsor Kitchen Set for £35.98, which includes a 1.7L fast boil kettle and a two-slice toaster. It comes in the colour grey, among others, and the listing says the kettle can make up to seven cups of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate on a single boil. The toaster features large slots to fit various sizes of bread slices, muffins, crumpets, and bagels, too.
Or at Dunelm, there’s this Kenwood Dusk 1.7L Kettle and Four-Slice Toaster Set for £109 in the colour purple – and there are five other colours as well. The textured kettle boasts a rapid boil feature and smooth pour spout, while the toaster has custom browning settings, along with a defrost mode and independent slots, to ensure ‘everyone’s toast is just right’.
The Homcom Kettle And Toaster Set has no reviews on Yimbly’s site at the moment, but others have left their thoughts about the products on Amazon. One shopper said: “I couldn’t be happier with this kettle and toaster set! The kettle boils water quickly. While the toaster delivers perfectly golden slices and also includes a defrost button, which is very useful. I love the colour and the matching look. Looks perfect in my new kitchen. Easy to clean, reliable, and stylish, this set is a fantastic value. Highly recommend to anyone wanting both practicality and elegance in their kitchen.”
A second said: “This kettle and toaster set is really nice. It boils very quickly and the toaster toasts your bread quickly, too. It looks very stylish on the worktop. It was a very reasonable price and arrived in great condition and on time. All round, very happy.”
While a third added: “Perfect. Not only do they look good in my kitchen, but they work perfectly. Highly recommended.”

Others deducted stars from their reviews on Amazon, such as this person who wrote: “It worked fine for 10 months and looks good still, but it’s disappointing to have to replace it already.”
Another said as part of a longer review: “These look very good and have all the functionality you would expect. My only gripe (why it lost a star) is that the toaster doesn’t toast as much as I would like.”
