Former Love Islander Molly-Mae Hague always seems to have flawless skin – and she’s revealed why. Molly-Mae opened up on her Instagram last year that she’s devoted to the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, saying it’s “the longest” she’s ever stuck with a foundation.
The foundation – from Lady Gaga’s beauty brand Haus Labs – costs £45. Molly-Mae wears the shade 230 in Light Medium Cool, but there are 51 shades to choose from – with options range from fair to medium deep, and varying choices for undertones, to really make sure shoppers get the best match possible.
What is the formula like?
Haus Labs describes this foundation as longwearing and non-comedogenic, but the best thing about it is how it’s infused with over 20 skincare ingredients. This means users can still get plenty of coverage, without compromising their skin health.

The formula is said to be ‘waterproof, sweat-proof, transfer-proof and humidity-proof wear and suitable for all skin types including acne-prone, sensitive, mature, dry and oily’, and it promises medium-to-full coverage with a ‘weightless feel’. Plus, it offers a ‘naturally luminous finish’ – perfect for getting that glow, even as the dark nights draw in.
Alternative foundations to consider
An alternative is Dior’s cult favourite Forever Skin Wear, which costs £45.90 (was £54) from Boots. This foundation also has a range of shades to choose from, promising high coverage and a blurring effect that lasts up to 24 hours.

However, shoppers seem to share Molly-Mae’s enthusiasm for the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, which has garnered a 4.7 star rating from over 18,700 reviews. One delighted reviewer said on the Haus Labs website: “HL Triclone Skin Tech Foundation is amazing! I have three shades so I’m prepared as the seasons change.
“It gives a flawless appearance. I also can the concealer and they blend so well together. HL gives a very radiant glow and I always get compliments.”
Another called it a ‘Holy Grail’ product, adding: “Very nice, skin-like finish! I have dry skin, and this foundation doesn’t make my skin look flaky or emphasize dry patches. It feels smooth and looks natural on the skin. Definitely a great foundation for dry skin.”

While a third commented: “What more could I possibly want from a foundation? This looks and feels so light and stunning and flawless and the finish is perfect and I’m absolutely obsessed with it. It has a cult following for a reason.

However, some customers shared concerns about their colour match: “So far I am pleased with this foundation. I’m not sure if I have the right colour though. It does give me a pretty, natural glow.”
