‘My lover calls for each day nude selfies however I’m executed with tickling his fancy’

Dear Jane,
Hot shot
My boyfriend expects me to send him nude shots of myself every day.
I don’t like doing this, but he makes a fuss if I don’t. Every morning I take a few snaps of my naked breasts and bum. I do some open crotch shots too. He’s very appreciative.
He says they turn him on. But I worry about him showing stuff to his mates and considering me a slut.
JANE SAYS: Your body, your choice. None of us should ever feel obliged to compromise ourselves just to impress another person. Plus, if you can’t trust him to keep your images private, then he’s a liability and a law breaker. It is a criminal offence to share, send or threaten to share intimate images without consent.
Ultimately if he dumps you for holding back, then you will need to consider that a lucky escape.
What about dumping HIM – right now?
End of an era
My old boss no longer wishes to be my friend. She’s told me that she’s not interested in chats or coffees. I’m to stop inviting her to my parties and, if I see her at professional events, I’m to look away and talk to someone else.
I’m devastated. She and I have been close for years.
We’ve enjoyed holidays and days out. I was with her when her husband left, and she helped me when my dog was seriously ill.
Now, apparently, she wants to spend her days with different people. She plans to travel, learn about wine and master a foreign language. I’m confused. What’s wrong with me? Why can’t she do those things plus see me too?
JANE SAYS: Back off and respect your ex-friend’s position. If she’s desperate for a different kind of future, then give it to her. I understand that you’re confused and upset, but it’s not for you to question her decisions. It’s her life and she can live it anyway she pleases. I’m not going to give you false hope by suggesting that she’ll return to you in time, because she may not…
Concentrate now on living your best life with the people who are interested in spending time with you. You may never discover why this woman has retreated into her shell. Don’t assume that you’ve done something ‘wrong’ simply because she’s changed course.
Star-struck teen
My mum hates me.
She adores my ex-husband but storms that I’m a disappointment. My ex-husband is the light of her life. His new partner is very pretty and my mum fawns over them like a star-struck teen.
I think she’d jump into bed with them in she could. I was forced to spend an awkward August Bank Holiday with them for the sake of our child. My Mum was appalling, if she wasn’t sucking up to them, then she was slagging me off. She called me ‘a total mess’ and said she wasn’t surprised that he left me for someone ‘better’. How dare she?
JANE SAYS: Tell your mum that she showed off and behaved appalling over the Bank Holiday. Explain that you now need time apart from her to clear your mind and calm down.
If she thinks that playing mind games is clever, then she’s going to find herself out in the cold. Your child is your priority and maintaining a decent relationship with your ex-husband is desirable and vital.
I’m not suggesting that you fall out with your mother completely, but she needs to sober up and realise that you’re your own person and she was rude. Stand up for yourself.
If you have a problem that needs solving and you don’t know where to turn, look no further.
