People mock engagement rings for brutal motive and now we will not unsee it

When excited couples rushed to social media to show off their new engagement rings, they probably didn’t expect to get reactions like these ones.

Unfortunately for these ladies, the shine was soon taken off their jewellery when social media users weighed in with their brutally honest opinions.

While some of the sparklers looked more X-rated than intended, another had a stone that was compared to a “sanitary pad” by some savage critics.

That’s not all – as rings were even torn into for looking too “tacky” or childish. It’s enough to make any bride or groom-to-be cry!
