‘My daughter came upon about my attractive on-line job and it was all price it’

Single mum April, who grew up on food stamps, now rakes in up to £74,200 a month selling racy snaps online, letting her spoil her kids and live in luxury

A single mum has shared how her daughter discovered her double life selling sexy snaps online while the kids are at school. April makes up to $100,000 (approximately £74,200) a month as a model on a popular adult content sharing platform, which allows her to provide a comfortable life for her two children.

This ability “means the world” to the mum, who herself grew up on food stamps. Up until recently, no one had any idea what the mum-of-two gets up to.

But recently, the eldest daughter – who is in her late teens – found out the truth. Although April admits the conversation was a bit “awkward” at first, she was blown away by her girl’s response.

“I’ve always been quite good at hiding what I do for a living,” said the model, who is better known as ATQ Official online and has 223,000 Instagram followers @‌atq_model. “I try to do everything from my home while my kids are at school.

“I chat to fans and take photos and videos in between cooking and cleaning – but I feel like I do a really good job of balancing everything. There have been moments where I kit myself out in a full latex outfit and have to throw on a dressing gown when a neighbour rings the door bell.

“I use a lot of props in my job too – which are normally all locked away – but one day I accidentally left a few bits out when I was in a rush to make the school run. My oldest daughter, who is in her late teens, found them.

“She’d also heard some rumours from family friends and eventually put two-and-two together. We had a conversation and it was super awkward at first, but she ultimately was very understanding.

“I told her that I had to do what I had to do as a single mum. Now she gets why we are better off now and can afford what we can.

“I used to be a bartender and drink a lot, so she’s just happy that I don’t do that anymore. She’s not embarrassed far from it, she’s proud of me.”

While April’s eldest is now more informed, her little one remains in the dark – and the mum, who lives in California, USA, is going to keep it that way until the child is much older. She said: “The little one doesn’t know, she thinks I do YouTube or Instagram or something.

“People often think what I do is an easy job but nothing could be further from the truth. I push myself until everything is done, even if it’s late at night.

“Sometimes I won’t sleep until 2am – and then I’ll wake up at 6am to make breakfast for the kids. It’s a lot to juggle but it’s all worth it because I can spoil my kids, which is all I’ve ever wanted.

“I grew up on food stamps – so to be where we are now feels incredible. We didn’t start our lives travelling or being able to afford nice things.”

The family, which also includes April’s fiancé, live in a five-bedroom house with a pool and often go travelling together. The mum, who started making adult content on social media in 2020, has also bought her eldest a “decked out” 2025 Chevrolet Trax and regularly puts away money for her future in a savings account.

For Christmas, April plans on giving her daughters £600 worth of gifts. She added: “They each made a wish list and I’ve been able to buy everything they asked for.

“I don’t want to over-spoil them – plus we like to put money towards travel, experiences and adventures. I think my eldest sometimes feels kind of shy about the luxury we can enjoy or can’t believe that I can get presents for her like I do now.

“My youngest one is a bit more spoiled but she understands her limits. They are always thankful.

“I’m so excited for Christmas. The annual dinner party with relatives will be at our place this year.

“We have the house all decorated – it feels so cozy and warm. What I do is a real job and a business.

“People may not see that but it takes a lot of hard work, discipline and creativity – especially juggling it all with kids. They are what motivates me.”
